New Life in Christ, Not a Better Resume

New Life in Christ, Not a Better Resume
Jesus did not come to improve our old lives or add to our religious routines; He came to give us a completely new life. True Christianity is not about building a spiritual resume, but about receiving the gift of righteousness through faith in Christ. When we are “found in Him,” everything changes: pride gives way to humility, anxiety to assurance, and striving to rest in His grace.

This new life is not something we achieve, but something we receive. It is a relationship, not a religion. As we embrace this gift, we are transformed from the inside out, living each day in the freedom and joy of being God’s beloved children.

2 Corinthians 5:17-18 (KJV): "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;"

Reflection: What is one area of your life where you are still trying to “improve” yourself for God, rather than receiving the new life He offers? How can you surrender this area to Him and rest in His grace today?
