Recognizing Modern Idolatry
Just as the people of Sardis were surrounded by pagan worship, we too are surrounded by modern forms of idolatry. Whether it's the pursuit of success, entertainment, or material possessions, these idols can easily capture our hearts and distract us from our devotion to God. We must be vigilant in recognizing and addressing these idols, ensuring that our hearts remain fully devoted to God. Our mission is to bring the light of the Gospel to those who are lost in these modern "temples," pointing them to the true source of life and fulfillment.
1 John 5:21 (KJV): "Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen."
