Attentiveness to God's Priorities
What we pay attention to reveals our priorities. Jesus pays special attention to the local church, understanding its needs and struggles. We are encouraged to be attentive to our local church, praying for its leaders, and actively participating in its mission. Our involvement reflects our commitment to what God values. By aligning our priorities with God's, we become more attuned to His work in our community and more effective in our service.
Hebrews 10:24-25 (KJV): "And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching."
