God’s Ways Transcend Human Logic
God’s Ways Transcend Human Logic
God’s instructions often defy our expectations and challenge our understanding. The widows were told to feed a prophet first or gather empty vessels—actions that made little sense in their desperate situations. Yet, God’s wisdom is higher than ours, and His solutions often require us to move beyond what is practical or comfortable.
True faith is willing to obey even when the path forward seems irrational. God sees what we cannot, and He invites us to trust His perspective over our own. When we let go of our need to control and understand everything, we make room for God to work in ways we never imagined.
Isaiah 55:8-9 (KJV): “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.”
Reflection: Can you recall a time when God led you in a direction that didn’t make sense at first? How might God be inviting you to trust His wisdom over your own understanding in a current situation?
