Selfless Faith Becomes a Channel for Blessing

Selfless Faith Becomes a Channel for Blessing

The mothers in these stories made choices that put others before themselves, even in their own pain and need. Ruth clung to Naomi, Hannah dedicated her son to God, and the widows gave out of their lack. This kind of selfless, others-focused faith is the soil where God’s blessings grow—not just for us, but for those around us.
When we give, serve, and love beyond our own needs, we become conduits for God’s provision. Our willingness to put others first, even when it costs us, opens the door for God to work in powerful ways. Kingdom blessing flows through hearts that are surrendered and selfless.

Philippians 2:4-5 (KJV): “Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others. Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:”

Reflection: Who in your life is God calling you to serve or encourage today, even if it requires sacrifice? What is one practical way you can put their needs before your own?
