Living Ready to Meet Jesus

Living Ready to Meet Jesus

Eternity is not a distant concept—it is a certain reality for every person. One day, each of us will stand before Jesus, either as Savior or as Judge. The question is not if this meeting will happen, but whether we are prepared for it.
The gospel offers the assurance of everlasting joy in God’s presence, but it also calls us to examine our hearts, repent, and live with readiness. This means living each day with a sense of holy anticipation, confident in Christ and unashamed when we see Him face to face. Are you ready to meet Jesus—not just someday, but today?

1 John 3:2-3 (KJV): “Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.”

Reflection: If you knew you would meet Jesus today, what is one thing you would want to make right with Him or with someone else? What step can you take toward that today?
