Questions can be faithful steps toward deeper trust

Questions can be faithful steps toward deeper trust

Mary asked, “How will this be?” and that question did not disqualify her from faith. Honest questions are part of a living faith journey; they show engagement, not rejection. God welcomes inquiry that seeks understanding and points us back to trust, not away from it.

When doubts or curious questions arise in you, bring them into conversation with God and community instead of hiding them. Faith that never asks questions can become shallow; faith that asks honestly grows deeper because it allows God to meet us in our uncertainty and strengthen our trust step by step.

Mark 9:23-24 (KJV): “Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth. And straightway the father of the child cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief.”

Reflection: What specific question about God, faith, or your circumstances have you been afraid to voice? Choose one trusted person or a quiet time with God this week to bring that question into prayer and honest conversation.
